Come and meet us at Network Central
Well Network Central at Swindon turned out to be another exciting and buzzing day. You can say what you like about networking but these events are such a good blend of networking and exhibiting.I haven't been to one event that hasn't been a pleasure to be at. Without exception everyone is always up beat and energised, and that is a testimony to the hard work and dedication that Rod and Debs put into making these events work.

This is where every SME should be.
Exhibiting is an expensive game, and all too often the rewards can be minimal, in the past I have taken my companies to large scale events in London as well as some of the, shall we say more prestigious shows in the South West. These types of event tend to weigh in at a few thousand once you total up all the invoices, and I have to say often provide little return.
The great thing about Network Central events is that you guaranteed to be speaking to the key people in the business and because it recognised as being 50% networking and 50% exhibiting the whole attitude is different. The delegates get out and meet each other, and of course the its a great opportunity for visiting businesses to make some connections and meet other businesses.
There has been some concern over people simply visiting the event to sell their services to the businesses who have paid for a stand, I think that's its a little short sighted to try to legislate for that. Put simply network central is for networking so we should be welcoming every opportunity we get to create another relationship with another business, remember its not what you know but who you know that counts.
I say come along to Network Central whether your business is big or small, young or old. If you've got something to shout about then buy a stand and tell everyone about your business, and if your looking to make some new contacts and build relationships then you should be there too. Finally if your coming to Network Central to walk round and sell to everyone that's fine, but use your loaf be discreet start by building the relationship, ask some open questions about the business, use your questioning to qualify them in or out of your sales process. Whilst your doing that listen carefully to what they're telling you, because you might just find that the products and services they offer would help you or your clients and the quickest way to build trust is by offering them referrals!
When you do decide to come along to Network Central make sure you come and say hello to us on the Abazander stand, we've always got time to talk to you whether your buying or selling. Of course we would say that because with iSAM at our disposal the first thing we are looking for is your business card.
